And on top of all the other crap going on around here, my 16 year-old refrigerator died. Just in time for a nice holiday weekend. Hopefully I can find something on sale.

That is about the right timing.
Yeah, that's what I figured. I probably could have had it fixed, but didn't seem like a good idea.
Don't forget to comparison shop online before you head out and make sure to haggle! You can get an extra 10% that way.
Dude, get a Lowes card (assuming you have a Lowes in your area). They offer a discount if you use the card and no interest for 12 months for new customers. Once it's payed off cancel the card so you can get the same deal again at a later date. We've done this twice :-)
Ditto Cactus Mark. Home Depot and Lowe's both have savings if you use their card.
